Crafty Wednesday: Polymer Clay Tutorial!

Today I have a clay tutorial, for my YouTube channel. To make this you'll need some type of clay, and the video shows the rest. I've also been doing other crafts, and found a cool technique with sand to make clay chicken burgers look more "covered" and fried with  the bread crumbs or what ever they fry on chicken! ~ Abby ca.K.e

This post will be about me complaining about the weather

I told myself I shouldn't do this. Telling you how cold it is over here, and how no one wants to take Eva out. Thankfully we have a back yard, and when it's too cold to give her a walk, we just let her in our backyard. Eva likes stealing my glove, and  " Killing" it. Poor glove! Also, we said we would give Eva a " Christmas" bath, because she needed one, but that never happened, and still hasn't happened. Even though it's cold outside, I am thankful I have a warm house and a dog to hug when I'm cold. I don't know how anyone could survive in this weather outside, I don't think I could live a day completely outside in this weather. So I guess you should be thankful for the house you have, and that you are in a place tonight! OH NO! Think about the poor lonely dogs in this cold weather.. Wait, please don't think about that, it's too sad!

The new year 2014

It's 2014 now. WOW, 2013 went be so fast, it almost seems like it was yesterday when 2013 came along. I remember 2012. It was the year we went to Disney Land with our Grandparents and family. It was the year when I might have done my last musical with CUC.  What about 2013?
In the summer I got braces, and before braces I went to my gymnastics summer camp. I had such a great year last year, and the year before, and the year before.
I remember the year we got Eva, that was a great year. Sometimes we wish we could repeat something in the past, or try to undo something that happened. I've learned that life goes by so quickly, and I know people try to grow up so fast, and then wish they hadn't.
I don't know what things I'll do this year that I will remember the next, but remember each day is special, and you won't ever have January 7th 2014 again.
Yeah, this is what happens when I don't know what to blog about... ~ Abby ca.K.e

An amazing vacation

Right after Christmas, we went on a trip, most people might call it a vacation , but I call it a trip because we drive in stormy weather, and Eva isn't with me! We went to see our Grandparents, my Aunt, and my other Aunt and Uncle, and my two cousins, in Alberta. I didn't want to say the city we stayed at, but it's not Calgary, neither Edmonton. So it is a smaller place, a beautiful wonderful place
. The place where I live, is sooo cold, and the driving weather was so bad, that for a couple of hours we couldn't see three feet in front of us because of the snow, and there was crazy wind.
When we stopped in Moose Jaw, we stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Dad and I went to see the tunnels of Moose Jaw, and we went on the one about Al Capone ( I've been on it before) Because it was their last tour of the day, dad and I were the only people on the tour!
It was soo fun. You see, this isn't just a bla bla tour .. this is a gun they used back then, Al Capone was a bad guy who had a scar on his left cheek, this is bla blba bla... These tours take you back in time, and they have real actors in the tour, and everything is timed, so we have to move at a special time. After the amazing tour, we went to a fancy restaurant that dad and mom used to go to when they lived in Moose Jaw. The food was amazing, and we had a great time.
When we got to our Grandparents, we did lots of fun stuff. We did Christmas, and a Christmas dinner, and I loved everything I got, and I hope everyone liked what I made them. When we went swimming I went off the high high board for the first time, and dad said I did it in perfect form!
Then my uncle, dad and two cousins and I did a contest of who could hold their breath under water the longest. I beat my two cousins, my dad AND my uncle! I can hold my breath for one minute and forty seconds. That doesn't seem THAT long, but it is very hard, and you have to concentrate a lot on holding your breath.
I had a great time, and it was wonderful to see my family again.
