I've been crafting

I made some clay stuff. I made WAY more than this,. but I just chose some out of everything. This is a golden paw print.

  I made a mini Frodo from Lord of the rings. I didn't want to make him look realistic, just small and cute. This is my favorite thing I've ever made. He's so cute!!!

           I also made a Minnie mouse cupcake. Eh, its OK, but not as awesome as the Frodo. ~ Abby ca.K.e

Scrapbookers party on the Weekend

I'm almost over my cold! On the weekend mom and I went to a scrapbooking club, they give us layouts to do in our scrapbook. Mom and I are doing a Disneyland scrapbook. Sometimes I think its just a dream, because I dream a lot of Disneyland. But photos of Disneyland make me remember its real. We get a new layout each month, and this month they also gave us a card layout!!  I played hockey with some friends, finished ' Lord of the rings: The fellowship of the ring". ( Second time watching the whole movie), and I got a hair cut by Le Essi. ( Esther). Oh yah, I also watched a Canadian History movie, two discs!  This week blog posts should be back to normal, hopefully  you'll have a try something new a day tomorrow. ~ Abby ca.K.e

Try Something New A Day:Episode ??

Today, I am trying something we had for supper " Sweet potato chickpea curry". It looked very weird while being cooked. Then, mom said I had to try some. SO, I put a teaspoon of this stuff onto my plate. It smelled good, but then I tasted it. The chickpea was fine, but I could just taste the sweetness of the sweet potato. I couldn't eat it. I don't like my sweet with chickpeas, or beef. I just hate the taste. I didn't spit this out, but I do not like it at all!!!! ( Dad also didn't like it). I would give it a 4 ( 1 being gross 10 being delicious).

Another plant, She's almost dead.

We have an Avocado plant, no it doesn't give us avocados, but it is nice to look at. But, sadly, it is dying.

                                          Mom had to cut all of the black roots off, and now we've planted it again. I hope it lives. Mom, good job in taking the photos of this plant! ~ Abby ca.K.e

Sick for a whole week.

Last Friday night I got sick. I am getting much better, but I'm still a little sick. Last week we went to the art gallery to learn about " The group of seven". ( A group of seven art guys). But  It was really disappointing because we hardly did anything to do with the group of seven, so all of us homeschoolers are making a complaint. Have you ever been to something that wasn't what it said it was? I have. I just hate being sick. That's why all of the blog posts this week where a little wacky. ~ Abby ca.K.e

I'm so cold

Even though I have lots of fur, I am so cold!! Its been freezing lately, I hope the cats outside have a place to be! Wait, if all of the cats where inside, then I couldn't bark at them. So I've just been all cuddled up in a ball in the couch! Cold, licks and wags Eva.

Cookies!

                                         Mom and I made these cookies with my grandpa's brother's wife's recipe. This is a sugar cookie recipe that has never failed mom- I mean us. Do they look good? Looks like the cookie monster will be coming tonight.... Do you have a cookie recipe that you always use for cookies? Or, do you use a different one every-time? When we make cookies for dad's work, we use the same recipe because it's what works the best. Dad doesn't just add everything the recipe tells him to, he adds all types of weird stuff, like cereal. ~ Abby ca.K.e.

I got sick on the Weekend.

On the weekend, I got sick.. On Friday night I got a very high fever of 103. But, I have been getting better slowly. We also went skating on Sunday. On the river, there was this fort that reminded me of a Hobbit hole,
but it might remind you of something else.

All Alone, Chewing on my bone..

    Will you be my Valentine? Today, Abby told me that she'll be gone almost all day. Esther will be with her. I know Janice will be busy all day, so that means I'll be all alone! Bark Bark Bark!!
OH well, I can catch up on my cutie sleep. What did you do for Valentines day? I might have gone out for the night, and I might have went to a dog dinner with someone... But, you'll never know. Wuff Wuff!!

                                   

Happy Valentines day 2013!

Today, it is Singles Appreciation day eve ( Or so we call it in my journalism class). YAY TO US SINGLES!! Oh wait, its also Valentines day!!! ( hehehe!)  For breakfast, we had heart shaped cinnamon toast! For lunch, we had soup, with heart shaped carrots!

A rose who is Surviving the winter

What if I told you, that there is a rose plant in our house, ( that we got last spring) and that it's blooming?

Real Party on the weekend!

Yes, I DID play hockey again. But I went to a real party! A Valentines day party! It was really fun, and we got to decorate cupcakes! ( Decorate them Valentines Day themed). AND, We went to this:

Crafty Wednesday, PHOTO TIME!

I've been doing lots of crafting lately, I made three cards, but two of them I've already sent out, and forgot to take a photo.

I made two of this card. This is for Valentines day, I love how this turned out because I think the cupcake is cute, and the brown paint on the sides give it a cool effect. The only thing I don't like about this one is, I messed up on the cupcake's face.

                                          If you've been on my PawbucksMiniatures blog, You would have seen these already. These are fake cookie cards. I just love them, the colors just look so perfect together!

   This is another " Fake cookie". They are teapots, with an engraving in the middle. The one on the far left, has a heart, the one on the right, has a girl.

                                          I made a magnet with some of the fake cookies!
                                         I think this is SO SO CUTE! The theme was games.

                                              I'm not sure why I made this, but I love it!

                                             I'm planning to do another magnet, but the theme would be art.

Try something new a day, Episode 13

Today I am trying a baked oatmeal bar. That means it's baked oatmeal in bar form.
Sadly, they were all eaten before I got to take a photo. The texture is chewy ( more on the soft side of chewy) and the smell is much of dates. ( And as some of you know I HATE dates!). The taste has much of dates, and oatmeal, and I'm not sure what else. I liked this very much, one thing I LOVE doing, is adding a chocolate chip to the bar, because the bar is warm, it melts the chocolate chip all over the bar! Another good thing about this bar is, it"s a breakfast food! I would give it a 10/10 Rating. ( One being gross, ten being absolutely  delicious)

Another Hockey Party on the Weekend.

On the weekend we Watched " The Avro Arrow".  Sadly, it had a LOT of swearing in it, but it was still a very interesting movie. And, I played hockey on Sunday.  I think I have the hockey fever!

                                                WOW. But remember, he needs that much! Let me tell you what's in his lunch: An Apple,  Banana, Orange, Pear, Two muffins, Two Cookies, Three Sandwiches.
